About Us

Who Are We?

We are a group of Occupational Therapists, architects, and builders specialized in home safety assessments/ modifications necessary to create barrier free/accessible environments for individuals following an injury/illness, in order to promote their ability to conduct daily routines safely and more independently. Our approach is based on our knowledge, certifications and training in fields of American Disability Act (ADA), Universal design principals, aging in place, human ergonomics, and on over 20 years of direct clinical care for individuals with various medical conditions including strokes, brain injuries, arthritis, amputations, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, cognitive/intellectual impairment, and more.

We were engaged in a joint project with the Ken Tait to create a therapeutic space for patients with depression. On our part, an ergonomic rest and its arrangement were created, while our partner was engaged in the treatment of patients. The experiment involved about 20 patients who took Zoloft in a blind test. After a two-week course, there was a positive trend in more than half of the subjects.
